UK Official: Financial services deal may be expected if overall Brexit deal is agreed this month –RTRS

According to Reuters, citing an unnamed UK official, financial services deal may be expected if the overall Brexit deal is agreed this month and would be based on the EU's existing so-called equivalence system. 

The official was further quoted saying that a Brexit deal is almost done on some forms of access for the UK based financial institutions to the European markets.
